Apple's stock Podcasts app is a great way to follow and support your favorite podcasters, but it can also be a drain on your storage. Subscribing to a podcast through Apple's app automatically downloads new episodes to your device. While this is a great feature to keep you updated with all the latest episodes, it is also a strain on your device's storage capacity. You can navigate to Settings > General > iPhone Storage to see just how much space your Podcasts app occupies on your device.

Facebook is rolling out its latest photo sharing feature on the News Feed and in VR. It's called 3D photos, and it captures depth and movement in subjects using the distance between the foreground and background. The technology requires Portrait Mode, which is available on the iPhone 7 Plus, iPhone 8 Plus, iPhone X, iPhone XS and iPhone XS Max. The feature will be available in various markets around the world over the next few weeks.

Now that over half of active iOS devices are already running iOS 12, Apple is rolling out the next update. iOS 12.0.1 will include minor fixes for some issues that have been causing inconvenience for some iPhone owners. For those who have not yet upgraded to iOS 12, it comes highly recommended. iOS 12 optimizes much of the behind-the-scenes operation of any compatible iOS device.

Besides adding a few simple changes to the iPhone markup tools, iOS 12 also adds the ability to add different camera effects to photos in the Messages app. You can now add different filters, Snapchat-like captions, or shapes to any photo taken and sent as a text message. Users can also access their app drawers to add stickers from sticker packs or apps downloaded from the Apple App Store.
