The Google app on the iPhone, iPad or iPod touch now wipes its own history clean. Users of Google's iOS app can set up automatic expiration of search activity and location history. When configured in settings, this private data will be deleted after a set period of time. Once the option is set, no further action is required to delete history information from Google.

One of the built-in features of iOS can easily block specific phone numbers on the iPhone. When a phone number is blocked, it prevents incoming voice calls, messages and FaceTime from getting through. Mail senders can also be blocked, with the Mail app recognizing blocked email addresses and ignoring them.

iCloud Drive makes it possible to share folders across Apple devices and between different users. Sharing a folder on the iPhone or iPad requires iOS 13 or later. iCloud Drive folders stored in the Files app on an iOS device can easily be shared with a few taps.

Accumulating open tabs in Safari happens quickly on an iOS device. iPhone, iPad and iPod touch owners can easily watch the browser tabs pile up, unless they are manually closed one at a time. iOS 13 and later offers a way to keep Safari tabs under control automatically. Tabs can be set to expire after a certain time frame, which means they only stay open for a limited time.

Apple has always limited the size of apps that can be downloaded to an iOS device over a cellular data connection. Typically larger apps and updates require a Wi-Fi connection for downloading. The iPhone, iPad and iPod touch are capable of automatically downloading any size apps over cellular data with iOS 13 or later.
