The popular iPad weather app, Morning, is now available for the iPhone. Morning by Tamper was selected by Apple as one of the best apps of 2013. It is a minimalist app designed to "make your routine easier" by allowing you to customize various "panels" for Weather, News, Stocks and so on.

Users can easily keep track of six categories at one time and select which category is featured front and center. Each category also features its own edit button and different customization options. For example, you can set the Weather panel to show you the high and low, humidity, wind speed and so on in a different country. The Time/Date category features a 24 hour clock, and the Reminders panel is capable of syncing to your device's Reminders app. The other panels include a Commute option for traffic updates, a daily Calendar, and a Countdown timer so you will never miss another appointment.

Atari riled up RollerCoaster Tycoon fans by teasing them with the hashtag #RCT4M on Twitter for a few weeks before dropping an official trailer in March. However, the only release info announced was that the game would be available sometime in the "early spring," and it looks like spring has officially arrived.

RollerCoaster Tycoon 4 Mobile popped up on the App Store this morning for $2.99. The mobile version of the hit franchise allows users to create and share their own amusement park on their iPod touch, iPhone or iPad. The game includes 20 pre-designed coasters, over 50 different attractions, restaurants, concession stands and so on. Users can also unlock new materials and share roller coaster blueprints with other users.

Facebook is determined to make its iOS app even more useless by forcing users to download its standalone Messenger app. According to various sources, the company plans to remove the ability for users to send and receive messages directly from the main Facebook app.

Facebook has already begun sending notifications about the change to some users in Europe. These users will have around two weeks before Facebook rips the messaging tab from their apps. This will either force people to download Facebook Messenger, or cause them to only contact their friends through Facebook’s mobile website. Facebook eventually plans to implement this system worldwide.

T-Mobile today announced the continuation of its "Un-carrier revolution" by rolling out the first of three new data plans geared towards "value-conscious Americans". The company's first offering is the Simple Starter value plan which gives users unlimited talk, text and up to 500MB 4G LTE data for only $40.

Users who exceed their 500MB bandwidth cap will have the opportunity to buy "additional data sessions" instead of being hit with extra charges, according to the official T-Mobile announcement.

TinyCo's Family Guy game for mobile devices official release date isn't until April 10, but some savvy mobile gamers were able to download it a few days early from the New Zealand App Store. According to TouchArcade, this was a legit download, and no one used any tricks or stole the game, however Fox was not happy when gamers started uploading clips of Family Guy: The Quest for Stuff to YouTube and Twitch.

Fox claims that the game was accidentally made available on the App Store due to a "brief technical error" and began asking YouTube and Twitch users to remove their uploaded footage before sending out copyright claims. A few TouchArcade members' accounts were disabled on Twitch, and all videos featuring Family Guy: The Quest for Stuff were removed from YouTube.
