More reports are surfacing with details on Apple's upcoming AR headset. The project, known internally as T288, is slated for a 2020 launch date. Sources say Apple's device will support both AR and fully-immersive VR as well.

Security is always (or should be) a primary concern with any information you have online, including data from your social media accounts. Somebody with access to your Facebook account could wreak havoc on it, not just by spamming your friends, but by potentially gaining access to other online accounts and payment methods. With stories like the Cambridge Analytica data breach in the news, privacy and security are once again on the public mind.

The first of two planned Harry Potter games for mobile has finally landed on the Apple App Store and Google Play. Jam City's Harry Potter: Hogwarts Mystery is an RPG where players can participate in their own adventure set in the wizarding world. While many Harry Potter fans seem to enjoy the backstory of Hogwarts Mystery it's the microtransactions that are earning the game negative reviews.

Snapchat isn't giving up on wearable hardware launching its next-generation Spectacles on Thursday. The company's first foray into the hardware business didn't go well as demand for the original Spectacles waned, leaving the company stuck with hundreds of thousands of unsold units, according to reports. Snapchat blames "fragmented sales channels" as the reason for the failure, and has ditched the Snapbot distribution model. Originally consumers had to purchase Spectacles from vending machines randomly placed around the US. The limited distribution and high price of Spectacles resulted in overall lackluster sales of the first-generation glasses even though there was a high initial demand.
